EDUCATION 1961-1965 Bachelor of Science in Naval Engineering: US Naval Academy 1965 Completed the Basic Polygraph Examiner 1986 Course at the DOD Polygraph Institute 1989 Completed the course in Advanced Polygraphy at the University of Virginia EMPLOYMENT 1959-1969 United States Navy Began as an enlisted sailor and earned an appointment to the Naval Academy from the Secretary of the Navy. Following graduation served as a line officer on two guided missile frigates before commanding a Swift boat in combat in Viet Nam. Upon return from Viet Nam, served in the US Naval Shipyard in Philadelphia as the Technical Assistant for Missiles. Resigned from the Navy as a Lieutenant. 1969-1972 Robert E. Carr Associates: Vice President Together with Robert E. Carr, founded this New Jersey corporation and grew the company to the point where fourteen engineers were employed. 1972-1994 Federal Bureau of Investigation: Special Agent Served as a Special Agent/Polygraph Examiner. Assigned to the field offices in Minneapolis, Cleveland, and Charlotte. Investigated the entire range of matters covered by the FBI. EXPERIENCE Certified by the FBI as a Polygraph Examiner. Completed the advanced polygraphy course at the University of Virginia in 1989. Conducted polygraph examinations for the FBI in all types of FBI investigations. To date, conducted in excess of one thousand examinations. Testified regarding polygraph examination in administrative hearing in Greensboro, North Carolina Certified by the US District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina as an expert witness in the area of polygraph.
