Today, communication is everything ! My Translation/Public Relations Services can open your Company to the World and the World to your Company ! Translations and Interpretations by Almut Goebel-Hansen, a German Native with a translating Degree from the English Institute in Heidelberg, Germany. Specialization is in the Translation of Technical Papers - Essays - Surveys Speech Writing - Newsletters - Radio Spots - Genealogical Studies. Resume: Almut Goebel-Hansen, Owner, founded International Translation & PR Services in January of 1997. I, Almut Goebel-Hansen interpreted in court for several clients, in German, French and Spanish. A wide variety of first time offenders, juvenile court, family court for child custody and child support, and divorce hearings, as well as interpreting for witnesses were some of the occasions were translating services were needed. Some of the other areas include written translations like German patents for biochemistry, optics, and printing machines that I translated into English. Notarized Birth Certificates, marriage certificates, divorce certificates, diplomas and university transcripts from German, French and Spanish into English and vice versa are another facet of my services. Recently I had to translate web page hit words for humane restraints for Humane Restraint Co., Inc., in Waunakee, Wisconsin, into German, French and Spanish. I already have translated several manuals and computer programs. If other languages are needed, I am able to provide those, too. I already subcontracted Russian, Portuguese, Latin American Spanish, European Spanish, and Japanese. I also have translators for other languages on file. For specific translation and interpretation needs I am able to travel to location. I am a German Native, born in Hamburg, Germany and I moved to the US in January of 1995. An article has been written about my company and me in the spring of 1997 in IN BUSINESS Magazine of Madison, Wisconsin. For the same magazine I wrote an article about AIESEC that has been published in October of 1998. I took some graduate credits at the UW Madison in Journalism and that is where I came in contact with Public Relations. Some Co-students and me came up with a Public Relations Campaign Plan for the UW Arboretum. In the long run since our submission, a lot of our ideas have been taken into consideration and put into reality. Public Relations is fun, and I even had a couple of clients for whom I was allowed to do some PR. In 1995 until 1996 I used to work for a Community Radio Station, WORT, in Madison, Wisconsin as their culture producer for about a year, which was also a great experience. One of my other pet projects is coaching Gymnastics. For the last two seasons I was the Head Coach for Girls Gymnastics at Columbus High School, in Columbus, Wisconsin, about 40 minutes north of Madison, Wisconsin. The last season there was very successful. I broke the school record twice with my team and one of my Gymnastic Girls went on to State on the Uneven Bars. Now that I am located in Florida, I am very open-minded to new ideas and hope to coach Gymnastics at a High School down here. I am excited to venture out and do business with anybody, who might have translation, interpretation, transcription, Public Relations or coaching needs. By the way I also decipher old German script from the eighteen hundreds and before. For a list of assorted clients, please go to my web page at: http://www.deutsch-land.net/translator. My most recent client is Lerner & Greenberg from Hollywood, Florida. (Patent translations) | |||||||||||||||||
