Our Colorado divorce mediators, Lawrence F. King, J.D. and Christopher L. Griffith, J.D., M.S. are full-time divorce and family lawyer-mediators serving couples throughout the state of Colorado from offices in the metro Denver-Boulder area (Westminster) and Golden-Evergreen (Genesee).
Both Larry and Chris came to the field of mediation after years of active lawyering in divorce and family cases. As the practice’s founding lawyer-mediator, Larry has mediated divorces and parenting disputes of several thousand couples. As a former counselor with a Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy, Chris brings an extraordinary background as well as years of divorce lawyer work experience to our mission as well.
Both Larry and Chris are licensed Colorado lawyers (although we limit our work now to mediation), members of the Colorado Bar Association's Family Law Section and ADR Forum, and of the Association for Conflict Resolution (family section, formerly the Academy of Family Mediators). We meet the standards of Professional (formerly “Guidelines-qualified”) Mediator status as conferred by the Colorado Council of Mediators and Mediation Organizations.
