We currently conduct the Investigations for the Public Defender's Offices in Vermilion & Champaign Counties in IL. We have been Court Appointed on numerous Death Penalty Defense cases. Many of the personnel of Smith Investigations, Inc. have past law enforcement and investigation experience in virtually every field; including local and federal law enforcement/investigative agencies, private/corporate security and banking. Mr. Smith is a retired Det/Sgt with Danville, IL PD with 21 yrs of service and was the Field Supervisor/Investigation Division the last 7 years of his duty for a total of 15 years as an investigator with that department.
