We will work closely with attorneys to develop facts and evidence in support of your case, and, if necessary assist in trial preparation, and provide testimony. For prospective employees we can verify job history, interview references, and conduct criminal and civil records checks. Insurance companies can use Hittmeier Investigations to get the facts from involved parties, witnesses, and from those acquainted with a person’s character and reputation. Additionally, Hittmeier Investigations can locate missing persons.
Credentials:
Hittmeier Investigations is owned and operated by Ken Hittmeier, a retired FBI Special Agent with over 28 years of investigative experience. Ken was appointed a Special Agent in 1976. His first office of assignment was New York City, where he worked a variety of investigative matters, including counterintelligence, general criminal, bank frauds and embezzlement, as well as other white collar crimes. He transferred to Sacramento, California in 1987 and assisted the United States Attorney’s Office in prosecuting cases of white collar crime, political corruption, kidnappings, bank robberies, child pornography and other crimes against children. Ken retired from the FBI in 2004.

Hittmeier Investigations was established in 2004. It is licensed and insured, and provides a variety of professional services for attorneys, corporations, insurance companies, as well as individuals. All cases are handled with a sense of urgency and discretion, in the most cost-effective manner possible. Additionally, as a member of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI, Hittmeier Investigations is in contact with society members throughout the country. As such, the expertise of other society members can be drawn upon is there is a need for technical or forensic support or expert testimony
